Design Challenge #22

In this weeks design challenge, I decided to go back in’s emails and find a fun and relaxing challenge to do. I picked a coming soon page. In this challenge I did everything from building the logo, selecting the photo header, masking the header to have a cloud like bottom border, the text, and the countdown timer on the page. I even came up with the footer for the page. This type of page is a lot more common than people think. Larger companies and app/software companies use the countdown timer to add suspense and show that everything is on running and will be out on time. I did a little bit of research and found out that most companies put these up while things are being worked on in the background. In hindsight I would have added a email signup field so that Lightning Cloud could start collecting emails for email marketing. Maybe in Version 2.0 we can add that in. 🙂

Check out the video below and don’t be shy to reach out to me on I am always up for some discussion or help if I can. 🙂
