Design Challenge #21

Design Challenge #21 is in the books! 🙂 This challenge had me making tool tips or as I like to call them helper bubbles (lol). I decided to create an app from scratch called ToDo and make a login page and kind of like a walkthrough of where and what everything is and does. Just a short little rundown on ToDo…

ToDo is an application that allows you to create lists, add photos, text, and links to the lists. You can share links with anyone that has the application and is in your address book. I grabbed a simple icon and added some text next to it to create a logo. I also started creating the UI kit in XD. This allows for easier access to key features and keeps colors, typeface and reusable items like buttons and icons right at your fingertips.

Anyway… Back to the challenge…

Once you go through the initial login screens you are taken to a little animation of the homescreen loading and then are taken to a homescreen walkthrough which gives the user the option to skip or actually go through and learn what each and every part of the app does. Once through the walkthrough, you land on the homescreen and are free to start using the application. Please see the video below for a walkthrough of the walkthrough… LOL

I hope you enjoyed Design Challenge #21. If you did and want to leave a comment or want to connect with me, reach out on linkedin by clicking the link above in the header. Thank you and have a great day. 🙂

Hi, I'm Justin Pierce. I am a newly certified UX Designer with a background in Graphic Design, Web Design, and am a part-time hatchet-throwing photographer. To say I am new to this blogging thing is an understatement. I have added blogs to client websites before but never actually had to sit down and write one myself. Here goes nothing…
